Lighting design of apartments

Not a single decoration of apartments in Baku is complete without lighting design. Light is an important detail with which you can hide the imperfections of space, expand it and generally create an atmosphere of comfort. Designers actively use the possibilities of lighting design, trying to find a unique style of each room.

How to light different rooms in apartments?

Hallway. As a rule, the corridors in most of our apartments are narrow and small. With the help of light, all these shortcomings can be eliminated. The narrow hallway can be expanded by directing bright light onto the walls. In the corridor of irregular shape, it is possible to organize lighting from different angles and supplement it with auxiliary lighting.

Living room. This is the place where the whole family gathers in the evenings and where they receive guests.  The living room should be equipped with a common light source - a large chandelier with bright lamps. In addition, it is necessary to provide lighting near the sofa or chair, where it is convenient to read, knit or do household chores. If there is a home theater, soft sources of light are placed near it (they are placed into floors or walls).

Bathroom. This is a room that has a certain functional load. In bathrooms, the light also must be extremely functional. It is possible to use general and local lightning (for example, a mirror) here. It is best to install halogen or fluorescent lamps and be sure to use shades to protect against water and evenly disperse light.

Kitchen. Here it is best to use zoned lighting: above the work surface, above the dining table. Lamps can be built into furniture, and you can use ceilings or walls.

Bedroom. Here the light should be uniform. It is not necessary to illuminate one part brightly and leave the other in twilight. Use general and local light sources. That is, hang a large chandelier, and near the bed put a table lamp or hang a sconce.
